Florida A&Ms Bob Hayes (pictured here in
Rattler togs) won two gold medals in the 1964 Tokyo Olympics and was
called, The Worlds Fastest Human. As a wide receiver
for the Dallas Cowboys (1965-1975), Bullet Bob forced
defensive backs to develop the bump-and-run technique
to try and shut him down. However, 20 of Hayes 71 career touchdowns
covered 50-plus yards. A three-time All-Pro, he is the only player
to win both an Olympic gold medal and a Super Bowl ring. He was recently
included in the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2009 and is the
23rd Black college player inducted to the Hall.
