Roscoe Nance

Roscoe Nance is a celebrated independent journalist. Nance, for more than a decade, covered sports for USA Today, based in Northern Virginia. In 2003, he was a founding member and the first president of the Southwestern Athletic Conference Alumni Association. The Tuskegee graduate has covered high school, collegiate and professional sports for 30 years, beginning locally in the South and then nationally for USAT.
Roscoe Nance represents a wealth of historical knowledge concerning black college football, specifically the people and events involving the Southwestern Athletic Conference. Nance currently lives in Herndon, Virginia with his wife Willye Mae Pinkard Nance.
